Nicole Jameson

Ms. Jameson has been working in the fields of education and HR/business administration for over 15 years. She obtained her bachelor's degree and English teaching credential, as well as her MBA from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She has taught at the middle and high school levels in CA and NV at public, private, and online charter schools, and is excited to be starting her Montessori journey at MVA!  She is currently working on completing her dissertation for her doctorate in Education at Pepperdine University, and she can't wait to share all of her knowledge and expertise with her adolescent community students at MVA!  When not at school, Ms. Jameson enjoys reading, spending quality time with her family, and training her new puppy.

Kristen Hallecks

Ms. Hallecks moved from Connecticut with her daughter, Elizabeth, to join our Montessori family. She received her Bachelor of Arts with distinction in History from Western Connecticut State University in 2014. Ms. Hallecks has spent the majority of her adult life dedicated to the education of students in both the public and private sectors. In her spare time, Ms. Hallecks loves to explore her new environment, relax with a good book, or hanging out with friends.

Dax Malone

Mr. Malone graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with a B.S. degree in the Biological Sciences and a minor in Organic Chemistry. He has worked as a Forensic Research Assistant for the UNT Human Identification Laboratory. He also has taught at the High School and college level for over two decades.  His favorite past times are hiking, camping and cooking.

Sandra Manzo

Ms. Manzo graduated from Purdue University with a B.A. in Social Studies Teaching and a minor in business. She completed her Secondary I & II training at the Houston Montessori Center. She has taught at the high school level for 6 years. She has administrative experience in both the web development and manufacturing sectors. She loves MVA's natural approach to learning. She enjoys trivia games, road trips, landscape photography, outdoor/camping activities, live music, and reading.

Nzinga Spencer

Nzinga Spencer was born the youngest of three in a very loving family. In her family, education was always upheld being that education is something that gives you power, support and honor.  She is originally from New York State but has roots in many places around the country.  Ms. Spencer went on to major in Biology pre-med, then worked as a student teacher for the department of biology at Tuskegee University.  She is passionate about education and the opportunity for all children to have a proper education.  A perfect day for her would be traveling to a new place, surrounded by her family and good food.

John Trabert

Mr. Trabert was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics from UNLV and he achieved Ph.D. Candidate status at Southern Illinois University. Also, he has an ARL diploma from UNLV in mathematics education. He completed a teaching leadership CTE program through Southern Utah University. He is a Nevada licensed teacher and has worked at UNLV, Southern Illinois, and CCSD. In his spare time, he enjoys darts, swimming, card games and traveling while enjoying RV's and camping.
