Dana Betancourt

Ms. Betancourt was born and raised in Southern California and recently moved to the Las Vegas area.  She attended CBU, where she received her BA in Political Sciences and played collegiate level softball.  Ms. Betancourt worked with children that have disabilities for over five years before transitioning to a career in Montessori.  She is trained in Montessori Early Childhood and Secondary education and is looking forward to Erdkinder experiences with the Adolescent Community.  Ms. Betancourt enjoys hiking, roller skating and watching her favorite baseball team play.

Anastasia Fotis

Ms. Fotis has 30 years of experience in the Montessori environment, and has worked with all age levels. She has a love of learning and a sincere appreciation for the Montessori Method. She is a certified Montessori Lower Elementary, Middle School and High School teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Sacramento. She moved to Las Vegas in September 2018 from Sacramento, where she raised her two boys. She loves hiking, cooking, and quiet time with a good book.

John Trabert

Mr. John Trabert was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics from UNLV and he achieved Ph.D. Candidate status at Southern Illinois University. Also, he has an ARL diploma from UNLV in mathematics education. He completed a teaching leadership CTE program through Southern Utah University. He is a Nevada licensed teacher and has worked at UNLV, Southern Illinois, and CCSD. In his spare time, he enjoys darts, swimming and traveling while enjoying RV's and camping.  Mr. Trabert is also a race horse owner.
