
Mrs. Anne Gregory is a talented addition to Montessori Visions Academy. She currently works as an Office and I.T. Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA with an emphasis in Information Systems from Webster University. Before coming to MVA, Mrs. Gregory worked for many years in non-profit humane and animal welfare organizations as well in the veterinary medical field. She fell in love with Montessori when her eldest son began as a Primary student. Since that time, she has used her computer hardware and software expertise to help two other Montessori schools in New Mexico and North Carolina before joining MVA. Following her husband’s discharge from the United States Marine Corps, her family has relocated to their native Southwest, and is happy to return to the land of plentiful rock climbing, mountain biking, and kayaking.
Ms. Courtney Johnson is a graduate from the New Mexico Military Institute with an Associate’s Degree in Pre-Law. While in college, Ms. Johnson participated in a plethora of extra-curricular activities, including as a member on the Honor Board and a participant in a program that mentored and tutored children. Before living in New Mexico, Ms. Johnson grew up in Belize, in a family of ten children. Now, Montessori Visions Academy is fortunate to have her on staff as an after-school specialist. Ms. Johnson keeps herself busy when she is not at work through activities such as volleyball or playing the piano.
Mrs. Kachina K’ang shares her knowledge as the Nutrition & Health Specialist, the Adolescent Health Educator, and the Heroic Journey Facilitator. She is a certified labor doula (CLD) with extensive knowledge in pregnancy, birth, and parenting education. In 2002, she co-founded Birth Year Network, a non-profit organization which strives to increase the education of women regarding all aspects of reproduction. Kachina has also spent several years educating women and their families about the benefits of healthy eating and healthy living. Growing up in Hawaii, Kachina spent the summers as a peer counselor for Winner's Camp, a camp designed to enhance academic performance and social proficiency giving teens tools to make positive choices. When she was 18, she was given the opportunity to attend the Business and You Seminar with David Neenan from which Winner's Camp got its base. Kachina and her family have lived in Las Vegas since 1998. She loves to go to the movies, visit with friends, and watch her children, Iolana and Marcus, train in Brazilian Jui Jitsu and Muay Thai Boxing. Iolana and Marcus have attended Montessori Visions Academy since 2005.
